Debbie was fortunate to come from an intact family, and has been in her own marriage since 1979. She has witnessed and experienced what it takes to make a committed relationship work and feels privileged to help others.
Many people nowadays feel that leaving one relationship to pursue another is a sign of growth. This is most often not the case. Typically, wounds from childhood play out in our adult relationships, and if we don’t deal with them when they surface, we are doomed to deal with them in subsequent relationships.
Debbie can help you relate better with your significant other. Issues of control, sexual inequality, infidelity, nagging, emotional withdrawal, and unfair fighting are typical of the issues dealt with in therapy. She uses Emotion Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in her work to grow her clients current relationships.
Debbie offers a highly personalized approach tailored to each of her clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth for which they’re striving.
